Der World Aids Tag, der am 1. Dezember jeden Jahres stattfindet, soll die Wahrnehmung gegenüber HIV positiven Menschen stärken. St John’s Health Services in Trivandrum wurde mit dem Preis „Bestes Projekt im Staate Kerala“ ausgezeichnet. Das Gebäude wurde von den Schroff-Stiftungen finanziert.
World AIDS Day, observed December 1 each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. St John’s Health Services in Trivandrum have been awarded “Best community center in the Kerala State”. The award was handed over to St John’s Health Services for offering care and support to HIV/AIDS patients. The building donated by the Schroff Foundation is the main reason that these patients were offered care, accommodation and support.
